Sorry for being late to reply to you on this q- Point A and Green Rooms are nice. Hostels wise, Wombats City Hostel on Dock Street is fantastic. Palmers Lodge are not too bad too. What did you book in the end?

Thank you. My husband and I will be staying in London for 4 or 5 nights in late Sept/Early Oct. We’re in our early 50’s with a backpacker/off the beaten path kind of mentality. We love the idea of being with other travelers of any age, by have to admit we like to be asleep by 10 pm or 11 pm. So…of your recommendations, are there any that you would particularly recommend for us or would call out as “louder” late night than others?

I remember the people gathering to watch the games. I had the time of my life in that hostel. Such a friendly and warm atmosphere! I went back last year but only stayed for a couple of days so I could not enjoy it as much. Either way, it’s definitely my favourite hostel in London!
